This time, we are here to announce beta sign-ups! Shall we run by what a beta reader does very quickly?

 

As a beta reader, you give feedbacks on the story written by the author you are working with. It’s a very chill job, don’t worry! All you need to do is let the author know what sounds good and what doesn’t, help out with the grammar when necessary and keep an eye open for typos (we can guarantee there is bound to be at least one). Besides, you get to read the story before it is posted, how cool is that?

 

As a writer who is going to be working with a beta reader, they are just here to provide you with helpful feedback, so don’t be afraid. Having a beta will help you find the mistakes you may have missed out.

Things to remember:

 

♡ Be nice to everyone. We all have feelings, don’t be rude and hurt each other.

 

♡ Communication is the key. Writers, if you have figured it out already, please mention the points the beta needs to focus on. Please keep each other in the loop.

 

♡ Maintain anonymity! Don’t discuss the fic in public!!

♡ Writers can choose one beta from the list. If we have run out of betas, fret not, the mods offer their services as a beta!

♡ Talk to the mods too! Please let us know if you can longer be a beta or anything at all! Really!

♡ No dubcon, noncon, racism and extreme hate towards other members (past or present), will be tolerated.
